Amazon's Prime Big Deal Days event has officially finished but there are still deals to be found. It may sound like a mouthful but regardless it is a sales event which will see a whole host of excellent deals on golf equipment. Yesterday showed this with lots of good stuff on offer - especially in terms of tech, golf shoes and accessories. We have also seen deals on high-ticket items like the TaylorMade Stealth 2 driver so we are hoping for more of that on the final day of deals.
We want to show you the best deals in this live blog, as well as give you tips and tricks to get what you want for less. Additionally we want to help steer you away from the deals that look too good to be true (because they usually are!) We have been testing golf equipment for many years, as well as covering sales events like Prime Day and Black Friday so will be looking to include products that we've tested, gear we actually own, or products that the Golf Monthly staff recommend.

3 CLEVELAND CLUB DEALS TO START
Yesterday I wrote about how there weren't actually that many top quality deals on good golf clubs but this morning there are. Cleveland always comes in at the more value end of the price spectrum to start with and yet here we are, 3 clubs in which you can get hundreds of dollars off. Having tested them all as well, they performed very well and will suit those beginner golfers wanting forgiveness from their driver and irons.
GET THAT PRACTICE IN AT HOME WITH THESE NETS
Two good net deals I've spotted here. The Izzo is a unique model (with 46% off) that gives you a visual target to hit into whilst the Go Sports model is larger and perhaps better suited to those wanting to get some serious practice in.
HOW ABOUT TWO DOZEN BALLS WITH 15% OFF?
If you need to stock up on golf balls then boy do I have the deal for you. At the full RRP the Callaway Hex Soft ball offers a lot of performance for the price and now you can get two dozen of them for less than 40 bucks. This is one of Callaway’s distance balls, but one that's billed as also offering excellent feel.
When testing this ball on the course and on the range, we felt the ball performed well enough to back up those claims and we also thoroughly enjoyed the durability on offer. Around the greens and off the putter face, the ball feels soft, and easy to control too.

FURTHER REDUCTIONS ON NITRON PUSH CART
This is great to see. I saw this Nitron push cart reduced to $279.95 yesterday and Amazon has gone further this morning, taking it down to $259.95, just below 20% off. Now if you are familiar with our best push carts buying guide, you will know we are big fans of this model in the first place.
In testing, we found that it opens up in one smooth action and then folds closed again just as easily, with the wheels also able to be taken off and put back on again. It is lightweight and compact, has well thought-out storage areas, and we love the fact there are loads of colors to choose from too.

DJ'S PUTTING MAT LESS THAN $100
Another further reduction I have seen is on the Dustn Johnson endorsed Perfect Practice Putting Mat. It usually goes from $174.99 to around the $125 mark during sales events but right now the standard version has dropped to below $100! We ranked this our best putting mat in testing because it is made from quality materials, it is easy to fold out and fold away, it is fun to use, and it doesn't cost an arm and a leg. I'm going to start by looking at my favorite deal we've seen so far on this Prime Big Deal Day which is on the Adidas Codechaos 22 golf shoe. Despite it being such a good deal that's been live for over 24 hours, there are still plenty of colors and sizes available.
I test a lot of golf shoes but the Codechaos 22 has been a shoe I go back to time and time again. With reductions in some sizes of over $80, it's also the largest discount on a pair of shoes I've ever seen at a sales event like this. That's my actual Codechaos pictured above. Sadly, it's a bit worse for wear now I've been wearing them pretty consistently since last summer!

A great deal for those of you in the UK - GPS Golf Watch: Don't leave home without it!
Turning up at the course and realising I’ve left my golf watch at home is an inexplicably awful feeling. Like when you leave the house without your phone or wallet.
I spent the first half of my life with no phone and most of my golfing life without a watch. Now I’m in a state of panic if I leave home without either. Golf watches are essential to modern day golf and I prefer them to range finders.
You can get distances to the pin with a range finder, but I find that a watch gives you so much more than that. Keeping score, recording shot distances, hole maps to show where hazards are, all sorts of useful stuff. I feel naked without mine, and nobody needs to see me naked on a golf course, or anywhere else for that matter.

My colleague Dan mentioned this deal earlier but it’s worth pointing out again for anybody who missed it, as it's one heck of a deal. Dan posted a picture of his own shoe earlier, so I’m doing the same as I have them too. Those are mine you can see above. Lovely aren't they?
Dan said the Adidas Codechaos 22 is his favorite golf shoe and I’d be hard pushed to argue. While not necessarily my favorite, they are probably the most comfortable shoe I’ve worn.
I see them as more of a summer shoe and love wearing them with shorts, but this deal is for the US and unlike us Brits many of you don't need to worry about playing in the mud, so these are a great all year round shoe at a ridiculously low price. Grab this offer while you can.
My favourite training aid for home practice, plus lots of other useful ones
Putting mats have come on in leaps and bounds over recent years and the Perfect Practice Putting mat is one of the best available. Whatsmore, it is currently on offer for under a hundred bucks, which frankly is an absolute steal.
I actually bought this a few years ago (that's me in the photo above absolutely draining one) and it gets two thumbs up from me. But if my recommendation isn't good enough for you then Dustin Johnson also endorses it. Oh now you're interested. Like that is it?
Seriously, I do love this mat because it made me want to practice. I didn't have to force myself to do it, it was just there and I'd use it all the time. The beauty of it is that you can just set it up in the corner of your living room or office and just hit a few putts whenever you walk past to grab a drink or go to another room. It rolls up nicely too so you don't have to leave it set up all the time.
Whether you make or miss the putt your ball will roll back to you and because it's almost 10 feet long you can practice putts of various lengths and set yourself challenges. Yeah yeah I'm back on putters again, but these deals were too good to ignore. Cleveland are better known for the quality of their wedges, but don't sleep on their putters, particularly the Huntington Beach line. Turn your smartphone into a launch monitor and record your best shots
The Rapsodo MLM is a cool little device which turns your smartphone into a launch monitor. It’s very easy to use and it’s currently on offer for $299.99 which is a whopping two hundred dollars off the usual price and represents a saving of 40%.
I own one of these and for a while it accompanied me every time I played or practiced. I don’t use it much anymore as my local driving range was kitted out with foresight sports tech in every bay which removed the need for my own launch monitor, but I always enjoyed using the Rapsodo MLM as not only did it give me the data on each shot I hit, but it would also overlay that data onto a video so I could record and keep my best shots.
You'd mostly use it at the range but it's sometimes nice to take it out onto the course on a particularly inviting hole for driving, and then have the device record as you unleash one (see below, although I'm not sure 210 yards qualifies as 'unleashed').

For many golfers the driver is the most intimidating club in the bag. It is a particular problem for newer golfers, while even mid-handicap players can start to struggle for height off the tee as they get older and their swing slows down.

Thanks Dave and good evening all from a wet and windy Oxfordshire. There is just hours left of the Amazon Prime sale, but there is still plenty of products available at reduced rates.
I begin tonight with a product from a company that you don't normally see on sale. That manufacturer is PXG, whose Xtreme ball is now 20% off and under $32. It's rare that you see a premium golf ball for this amount of money and, in our testing, we rated it 4.5 stars out of 5.
In testing, we felt it gave off a slightly firmer feel and was also slightly more solid and 'clicky' on the greens with the putter. Off the tee and with an iron in hand though, it provided us with decent distance and ball speed and easily kept pace with other models in the premium ball space.

A good few hours since I was last live blogging, here I am again. Sam Tremlett here, and we only have a few hours left in the Amazon sales event so if you have a gap to fill in your gear setup, or just want something new, then now is the time to strike.
BE AWARE OF BLACK FRIDAY
I know I just said that if you have a gap to fill in your golf bag, or you want something, now is the time to strike, but I also want you to be aware of when Black Friday is. Later this year (November 24th), we expect a lot more golf deals to go live and to be honest, the discounts are usually as big as they can be then. So I think use your best judgement on buying something now, because if you can wait until the end of November, then it might be worth waiting.
That being said the thing you want might not go on offer then, so I have clearly managed to talk out of both sides of my mouth there. Just use your best judgement, that's the best advice I can give, and definitely use CamelCamelCamel, a price comparison tool.
When Is Prime Day 2024?
I have seen a lot of people asking this question and simply we do not know the official date yet. Prime Day 2023 earlier this year was a two-day event with deals beginning at midnight on the morning of July 11 and finishing at midnight on July 12.
Now Prime Day has often taken place in July, but it is not a certainty. In fact, throughout the Covid-19 pandemic, Prime Day took place all over the year, with one event happening in early October, so predicting the date for next year is a little tricky.
