US Open Golf Betting Tips 2020 Advised Bets - Final Round
With the two leaders a few shots clear of the field there is good prices to be had - especially on a course where shots can be lost so quickly.
Rory McIlroy 5 points to win at 14/1 with Betfred – COME ON RORY! He got himself back into the tournament with a brilliant 68 on Saturday, if he shoots that again on Sunday I think he could be very close to winning his first Major since 2014.
Dustin Johnson 1 point each way at 250/1 with Bet365 - The world number one has not had his best week so far, but at 3 over par he is still just in the hunt if the leaders fall away.
US Open Golf Betting Tips 2020 Advised Bets - After Cut
There is still some excellent value to be had out there if you haven't picked anyone yet.
Hideki Matsuyama 3 points to win at 20/1 with William Hill – Currently at level par he impressed with his imagination in round 2, he is one of the best ball strikers on the planet. It is all down to if he keeps the putter under control.
Bubba Watson 2 points each way at 70/1 with 888 Sport - Shocked that you can still get him at this price. Was brilliant to shoot under par in the second round and has shown before that he can putt well on these kind of greens.
Viktor Hovland 1 point each way at 100/1 with Betfair Exchange - The Norwegian is a rare talent - has two 71s to his name and has been in excellent form this season. If you are still after an each way bet he is your man.
US Open Golf Betting Tips 2020 Advised Bets - Round 2
If you haven't bet on the second Major of the year there are still some fantastic prices to be had.
Patrick Reed 5 points to win at 12/1 with Betfair Exchange - I mentioned on the podcast on Tuesday that he was the person who I think I should have picked before the tournament - shot three under on Thursday and is well set for a good week!
Thomas Pieters 3 points each way at 25/1 with 888 Sport - I picked the Belgian in my US Open Outsiders post- and this has not changed after a very solid four-under-par first round. Been in very good form of late and think he has the game to succeed at Winged Foot.
Rickie Fowler 2 points each at 45/1 with 888 Sport – Looked in much better control of his game yesterday in shooting one under par. Again tipped as an outsider and I think his great mental fortitude and awesome putting stroke could mean this is a special week for him.
Rafa Cabrera Bello 5 points to win at 14/1 with Betfred – Just three shots off the lead and an excellent player in windy conditions - this could be the year the Spaniard makes a charge!
Martin Kaymer 1 point each way at 200/1 with Bet365 – The German and of course former champion shot one over par yesterday and is well in the hunt. Has been playing much better of late as well.
US Open Golf Betting Tips 2020 Advised Bets - Pre Tournament
Webb Simpson 4 points each way at 25/1 with 888 Sport – The person least likely to have a bogey according to the PGA Tour stats - he is a former US Open winner of course and has had six top 10s including two wins this year. My man to beat and he has some tasty odds!
Daniel Berger 3 points each way at 28/1 with Betfred – Really like the American's chances he is 10th on the stats for bogey avoidance and 12th for Total Driving. Think he has been playing better and better this year where he has 7 top 10s. Don’t forget, with Betfred you can get £30 in Free Bets when you bet just £10 and get up to 30 Free Casino Spins
Paul Casey 2 points each way at 55/1 with Betfred - No one drove it as well as him on the PGA Tour in the 2019/20 season as he was top of the Total Driving stats. Was of course also 2nd at the PGA Championship just a few weeks back. He has the ability to win a Major - but does he have the temperament?
Justin Rose 2 points each way at 55/1 with Betfred – Loves to up his game at a Major, was 9th at the PGA Championship even without playing his best. I could see him putting together four solid rounds to win this. Don’t forget, with Betfred you can get £30 in Free Bets when you bet just £10 and get up to 30 Free Casino Spins
Rasmus Hojgaard 1 point each way at 150/1 with Betfred – The Dane has been playing some spectacular golf and has moved from outside the world’s top 180 to the top 70 in the world in a few months. Four top 6 finishes including a win in his last five events - like him at this price!

The US Open is being played at Winged Foot in New York - and it starts on Thursday 17th September, with the winner being crowned on Sunday 20th September.
There is of course a super strong field in attendance this year with the world number one and new FedExCup champion Dustin Johnson the favourite - he is 15/2 with 888 Sport.
Other favourites to win include Jon Rahm (10/1 with Betfred), Justin Thomas (12/1 with Betfair) and Rory McIlroy (16/1 with Betfred).
Last year the tournament was won by Gary Woodland, who sealed his first Major victory - he is 60/1 with William Hill to successfully defend his title.
PGA Championship winner Collin Morikawa could have another good week - if you fancy him to win two Majors in a row you can get him at 16/1 with Bet365.
Well what about Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson? Well the two veterans have been playing solid golf - Mickelson just needs a US Open to complete the career Grand Slam of course - he is 80/1 with Betfred. While can Tiger secure his 16th Major? He is 50/1 with Betfred.
