The Amsterdam-based innovation organisation is now selling the Kaddey Switch trolley across the UK and over Europe direct to consumers.
Kaddey Launches All New Switch Trolley
Dutch based company Kaddey has launched its innovative new Switch trolley across the UK and Europe after a successful year of selling direct to consumers in the Netherlands.
The Kaddey Switch has been innovated to change the way golfers use a trolley, offering players the opportunity to effortlessly shift between pushing the trolley downhill or while on the fairway, to pulling the trolley uphill or through the rough.
Nick van der Plaat, co-founder of Kaddey, said about the ethos behind the Switch, "We attach great importance to quality in design, use of materials and service. Kaddey only develops, designs and creates products that we would like to use ourselves out on the course."
"When building the Kaddey brand we think about our experience playing links golf, where having a local caddie is a real asset to your performance because they know the course like the back of their hand. They’re there to make your day. At Kaddey our role is the same: to make our customers' day on the golf course by designing world class products."

Van der Plaat also spoke on how the team at Kaddey came up with the idea for the Switch, saying, "The spark happened at the parking lot of golf clubs around Amsterdam. Golfers unfolding their ‘small’ packages, packed and dirty trunks, twisting bags, broken brakes – we witnessed a lot of frustration from golfers, and that’s no good for your mentality when you’re about to head out onto the course."
"We believe in less is more, that golf products can be more functional and stylish by removing all of the clutter. This results in products that make the golfer's life easier and allows them to get on with the more important things on the course."
Kaddey was founded just over a year ago with a direct-to-consumer business strategy based almost solely in the Netherlands.
With the recent success of the Kaddey Switch, the company is now opening itself to the market in the UK and across Europe.
The Switch recently won the prestigious 2021 Red Dot Design Awards – an annual competition where innovative products and concepts are judged.
The Kaddey Switch was awarded a Red Dot for Product Design, noting ‘The Kaddey Switch is a clever combination of stylish design and sophisticated function. Its easy manoeuvrability is just as impressive as its stylish aesthetic combined in this golf trolley. The quality and presentation is also exceptional."
Available directly from the Kaddey website, the Kaddey Switch is available now for €319 and includes a wheel cover, thermos bottle and bottle holder. Standard free shipping is available on all order over €100 within the EU and UK.
