Ryder Cup Course 2014

Hole 11 – “Laich Burn” – Par 4  – 350 Yards

This short par-4 will see the players hit a hybrid or long iron off the tee, leaving a wedge to a wide, but shallow green. The stream short of the green will likely deter players from going for the green off the tee. The water is also in play on the second shot, as any approaches with too much spin could feed all the way down the steep slope at the front of the green. Many of the four ball matches will likely be halved in birdie 3’s here.
