Tyrrell Hatton is one of England's best golfers, having won six times on the DP World Tour and once stateside on the PGA Tour.

He also has three Ryder Cup appearances under his belt and has been on the winning side on two occasions.

Tyrrell Hatton facts:

1. Hatton began playing golf at age 3, learning the game at a local par-3 course. He eventually decided he wanted to be a European Tour player when he attended the BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth Club. He attended the event numerous times, traveling 30 minutes from his home in Marlow.

2. He turned pro in 2011 off of +4.

3. He graduated from the 2013 Challenge Tour to secure his 2014 European Tour card.

4. In just his sixth start on the European Tour, he finished T2nd at the Johannesburg Open in South Africa.

6. He owns a purple Lamborghini Huracan. It is designed to symbolise the Joker from the Batman series with its purple exterior and green brake callipers.

7. Hatton is a Liverpool fan and has in the past had his wedges stamped to celebrate the team's Champions League victory in 2019.

8. His favourite movie is American Sniper, which stars Bradley Cooper.

9. In his spare time he enjoys gaming and one of his best friends is Matt Gallagher, also known as xMattyG whose YouTube channel used to have over 47,000 subscribers. 

10. His favorite vacation spot is The Maldives.

11. Hatton's wife is Emily Braisher, with the couple getting married in 2021.

12. Hatton has won six DP World Tour titles. He has won two Dunhill Links Championships in 2016 and 2017. On both occasions he beat Ross Fisher by four and three shots respectively. His next European Tour win came at the 2017 Italian Open which came a week after his Dunhill win. In consecutive years from 2019 he then won the Turkish Airlines Open, BMW PGA Championship, and Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship.

13. His career-high world ranking is 5th.

14. He has played in three Ryder Cups - 2018, 2021 and 2023 - winning twice on home soil in Paris, 2018 and Rome, 2023.

15. He won his maiden PGA Tour title at the 2020 Arnold Palmer Invitational at Bay Hill, beating Marc Leishman by one stroke.

16. Hatton joined TGL team Boston Common Golf Club in November 2023. The virtual league, founded by both Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy, was due to start in January 2024 but was postponed due to the arena's roof being damaged.

17. He is signed with Ping and plays a near-full bag of Ping clubs. He has a ball deal with Titleist and plays the Pro V1x.

18. He has made $22m on the PGA Tour.

19. He has made over 100 cuts on the PGA Tour.

20. He runs the Tyrrell Hatton Junior Masters back at his home club Harleyford GC in England.
