Nike Golf has come
out with a brand new, state of the art Tour support vehicle for the European
Tour.
The new Tour
truck will be Nike Golf's testing facility, equipment stock room, meeting
space, workshop on wheels and billboard, all rolled into one.
The company will
utilise every inch of the 16.5 metre long vehicle, both inside and outside, as
it travels from tour stop to tour stop throughout the season.
"Our first Tour
truck became a necessity to service our growing stable of athletes when we
launched hardware into the range more than 10 years ago," said Robin Murray,
Nike Golf's EMEA sports marketing director.
Peter Powell,
Nike Golf European Tour technician will continue to be responsible for all
technical elements on board the new truck which is outfitted with state of the
art precision machinery, components and tools to custom build Nike Golf clubs
and modify, re-grip or repair individual clubs on-site.
