Callaway Is Offering Up To 30% Off Pre-Owned Clubs - Here Are Five Of The Best Deals We've Spotted
Golfers can upgrade for less as Callaway slashes prices on its inspected and certified used equipment.
When it comes to upgrading your golf equipment, now is a good time to pick up a bargain. As well as the usual end of year sales, this is also the time when many of the game’s leading manufacturers are preparing to launch their latest lines in the New Year, meaning there are usually significant reductions on other recent products. That is certainly the case with Callaway, who in advance of its expected 2026 product launches is offering up to 30% off at their Pre-Owned store.
New equipment can be expensive, even if it is not the latest release, so going down the pre-owned route is a great way of saving money when upgrading your bag. An added bonus is that these clubs tend to hold their resale value pretty well so you can change up again next year without having to shell out too much.
Callaway’s recent back catalogue is extremely impressive. The brand is always at the forefront of any technological advancements and in recent years has pushed golf club technology forward by placing a strong focus on Artificial Intelligence, using it to drive performance gains across its drivers, fairway woods, irons and hybrids.
While Callaway built its reputation on breakthroughs such as Jailbreak and Flash Face, recent innovation has been increasingly powered by machine learning, which has fundamentally changed how clubfaces are designed. At the heart of this progress is Callaway’s AI Smart Face technology. By processing data from thousands of real-world golf swings, Artificial Intelligence (AI) is used to design faces that deliver larger effective hitting areas, faster ball speeds and more reliable launch and spin characteristics. This technology is prevalent right through the bag.

Odyssey putters have also benefitted from the same research and development, with the Ai-One range really raising the bar in terms of forgiveness. AI uses the data from tens of thousands of putts to shape unique face contours that help maintain more consistent ball speeds across the face, especially on off-center hits. This improves distance control and significantly increases the effective sweet spot for better results on the greens. We have tested a number of Ai-One putters and they are genuinely impressive, particularly on forgiveness and distance control when you don't quite middle it.
Overall, Callaway’s embracing of AI has transformed club development from a largely instinct-led process into a data-driven one, delivering tangible performance improvements throughout its modern lineup.

Looking for a driver that truly ticks every box? The Callaway Elyte blends low spin performance with impressive forgiveness and outstanding feel. It stands out as one of the most compelling driver releases of 2025, offering broad appeal for golfers across a wide range of abilities. And as a bonus, it looks every bit as good as it performs.

The 2025 Elyte driver range is available with 25% off. This includes the standard Elyte model, the Elyte X, the Elyte Triple Diamond and the Elyte Max Fast.
What this means is that there is a driver within the Elyte family that should suit your game perfectly. Low handicappers looking to maximize distance and lower spin will find the Triple Diamond to be a great fit. Mid-to-high handicappers looking for some extra forgiveness from a driver should be looking at the Elyte X, which is is crammed full of useful technology to help players hit more fairways despite missing the center of the club face.
The standard Elyte is more of an all rounder that will suit a wide range of handicaps. Our tester Joe Ferguson described the Elyte as "a superb all-rounder that delivers a slightly lower spin profile than some competitors ‘standard’ models. That combined with impressive levels of forgiveness and a solid feel make this a very strong driver that will suit a broad spectrum of players."
An excellent all-round performer in the premium driver category, wrapped up in a much improved aesthetic. The sliding weight on the back really does offer a broad range of flight customisation and we found the flight to be stronger and more penetrating than anticipated.

Callaway’s tagline for the 2024 Ai Smoke family was “Sweeter From Every Spot”, a phrase that neatly sums up the goal of a larger effective hitting area. This has been achieved through further development of its Ai Smart Face technology, which draws on swing data from thousands of real golfers.
That data includes swing speed, club delivery and face orientation just before impact. Feeding this information into Callaway’s AI system has resulted in an entirely new face design, one that creates subtle micro-deflections across different areas of the face. The result, according to Callaway, is effectively multiple sweet spots rather than just one.
The aim is to maximise forgiveness on off-centre strikes, something our tester Joe Ferguson was particularly impressed by, saying; "Forgiveness was something that very much impressed me with this driver. I hit an awful lot of balls with the Max so inevitably missed the center on occasion, but when I did, I was really pleased with the results."
At the rear of the Max head sits a movable weight, which Callaway claims offers up to 19 yards of flight adjustability. It’s worth noting that the Max represents the most ‘standard’ head in the range, positioned between the low-spin, tour-influenced Ai Smoke Triple Diamond driver and the spinnier, draw bias Max D driver,
Overall, the Callaway Paradym Ai Smoke Max is an excellent option for golfers seeking strong adjustability and real-world playability. You may need to loft up slightly to dial in optimal spin, but once you do, you’re rewarded with a seriously high-performing driver.
This might be the best-looking game improvement iron on the market today. Aesthetics like this are usually reserved for irons aimed at lower-handicap players but Callaway has achieved that with an iron that provides genuine forgiveness while also packing a punch in terms of distance.

The best game improvement irons need to tick plenty of boxes. Forgiveness, easy launch and strong distance output are all essential ingredients, and the Elyte irons deliver on all fronts. The result is a standout performer in this category and one of the best Callaway irons of recent years.
From a technology standpoint, the Elyte is a hollow-body iron featuring what Callaway calls a Speed Frame construction. This design allows for increased use of urethane microspheres, helping to improve feel and sound at impact. Callaway has also progressed its AI narrative with the Ai10x face, which it says features ten times more control points than previous generations, alongside a newly designed sole to improve turf interaction.
Aesthetically, these may be the most attractive game-improvement irons we’ve tested. Soft curves, well-balanced shaping and a refined mix of brushed steel and chrome finishes give the Elyte irons a genuinely premium look. The cavity badge detailing is particularly impressive, with understated branding that elevates them above much of the competition.
That visual appeal continues at address. A reassuring level of offset is cleverly disguised through smooth hosel blending, while the overall profile is confidence-inspiring without looking bulky. Although suitably substantial for the category, the Elyte irons present a refined, player-like appearance more commonly associated with some of the best irons for low handicappers.
A hot and easy-to-use hybrid that offers an excellent interaction with the turf. The new Big Bertha Hybrid has proven to be one of the most versatile and fun rescue woods we've tested and is a great game improvement option for any player looking for more forgiveness.

In 2023, Callaway refreshed its iconic Big Bertha clubs, and the hybrid in the lineup stands out as a versatile, user-friendly rescue club aimed squarely at golfers seeking greater consistency. Building on the success of the Big Bertha B21 hybridlaunched in 2020, this latest version delivers increased ball speed, stronger flight and impressive carry distances.
Visually, the hybrid makes a strong impression. Red and white accents on the heel and toe enhance its shelf appeal, while the sole features a clean yet eye-catching design reminiscent of the premium Great Big Bertha Hybrids. The sleek grey finish is complemented by subtle silver highlights and flashes of red, combining to create one of the most attractive hybrids currently available.
Technologically, Callaway has refined the weighting in this model, introducing an internal precision tungsten weight to promote higher launch and improved forgiveness. This works alongside Jailbreak AI with Batwing technology positioned behind the face, as well as an AI-designed Face Cup. Together, these elements help generate fast ball speeds and consistent spin across the face.
For mid-high handicap golfers, or those with slower swing speeds, this hybrid is an excellent choice that is made even more appealing by the current discounted price.
The Odyssey Ai-One Square 2 Square Jailbird Cruiser putter is the most stable zero-torque putter we've tried, it really works to minimise face twisting relative to your path. The Versa visuals and Ai-One Smart Face add to what is a highly impressive putter.

We have tested all the leading putters released over the past couple of years and the Ai-One range from Odyssey has consistently ranked among the best. The Odyssey Ai-One Square 2 Square range has been the brand's entry into the increasingly popular zero-torque putter space and our favorite model based on testing is the Ai One S2S Jailbird Cruiser putter.
Many golfers are skeptical about the benefits of a zero-torque putter, but we would definitely recommend giving them a try as the stability and forgiveness on offer can really help you hole more putts.
At address, this putter is certainly confidence inspiring. The larger mallet design with Versa technology frames the ball well and makes lining the putter face up square to your target a breeze thanks to the highly contrasting sections and the three dots near the face.
The extended 17-inch grip enables counterbalanced weighting while still allowing players to grip down and hold the putter in a more traditional way. We found this particularly beneficial for maintaining a smooth tempo throughout the stroke and promoting a natural release through impact.
Odyssey’s White Hot urethane insert delivers a soft, responsive feel at contact, while the fine grooves across the face encourage the ball to start rolling sooner, reducing excessive skidding immediately after impact.
Of all the zero-torque putters we’ve tested, the Odyssey Ai-One Square 2 Square Jailbird Cruiser stood out as the most consistent performer and the stability on offer blew away all of the competition. It also represents excellent value as it's priced well below many rivals in the zero-torque category. The combination of outstanding stability on short putts and superb balance on longer lag putts makes this a compelling option for anyone considering a new flatstick ahead of the new golf season.

Dave is a distinctly average golfer, an avid collector of vintage Ping putters and the world's biggest Payne Stewart fan.
Dave’s lowest round is a one over par 73 around Kirkby Valley Golf Club in 2018, which included a bogey on the 18th to ruin the one and only chance he’ll ever have of shooting an even par or better score. That errant tee shot on 18 does not still haunt him to this day though, in fact he hardly ever thinks about it. No, honestly, he doesn’t. Not at all. Never.
