KEVIN KISNER FACTS

1. His full name is Kevin James Kisner - also known as 'Kiz' out on tour.

2. Kisner was born in Aiken, South Carolina on February 15, 1984.

3. Kisner picked up the game from his father, Steve. At the 2014 US Open, Kisner surprised his dad on Father’s Day by getting him to caddie for him over the last few holes. “I realised the reason he wanted me to do it, so I couldn’t turn it down,” Steve said. “I was choked up, it means a lot.”

4. Kisner went to the University of Georgia and studied business Management.

5. His first car was a Chevrolet Blazer.

6. Kisner supports NFL team, Carolina Panthers.

7. While at college, Kisner was a proud member of the Bulldogs' 2005 NCAA Division I Championship team alongside the likes of Chris Kirk, Richard Scott, and Brendon Todd.

8. To this day, he is still a proud Georgia Bulldog and often makes bets with people like Justin Thomas over college sports. At the Sony Open in 2018, Kisner had to wear an Alabama Crimson Tide jersey out on the course after Thomas Alma Mater defeated Kisner's in college football.

9. After departing college in 2006 and turning professional immediately, Kisner enjoyed three wins on mini tours between 2007 and 2009.

10. He earned his PGA Tour card ahead of the 2011 season after winning once on the Nationwide Tour and ending the campaign 11th on the money list in 2010.

11. Kisner bounced between the PGA Tour and Nationwide Tour for several years before finally breaking through and winning the 2015 RSM Classic.

12. In total, Kisner has four PGA Tour victories to his name, with the most recent arriving at the 2021 Wyndham Championship.

13. He always uses the head side of a coin to mark his golf ball.

14. The South Carolina player has a disappointing playoff record on the PGA Tour, going 1-5 through his career - including at the 2015 Players Championship - but finally triumphing at the sixth attempt (2021 Wyndham Championship) against five players, which included Adam Scott and Si Woo Kim.

15. Kisner once surprised his long-term caddie Duane Bock in 2017 by buying him a Ford F-150 truck.

16. Kisner has twice competed for the United States in the Presidents Cup. The first was a memorable one as Kisner went undefeated across four matches in 2017 (two wins and two halves) before halving one and losing two in 2022. The USA won both events. In 2024, he acted as one of jIm Furyk's assistant captains in another successful week for Team USA.

17. He finished in a tie for second at the 2018 Open Championship - Kisner's best result in a Major.

18. He’s married to Brittany Anne DeJarnett, and they have three children together.

19. They formed the Kevin and Brittany Kisner Foundation to assist organisations in the Aiken, South Carolina-area that promote children's fitness, health, education and opportunities to participate in sports.

20. Kisner would include his dad plus Ben Hogan and Arnold Palmer in his dream fourball group.

21. He was announced as part of Tiger Woods' Jupiter Links Golf Club before the inaugural season of TGL.

22. Kisner began working for NBC Sports as a guest lead analyst in 2024 before securing the job on a permanent basis ahead of the 2025 campaign.
