The 13th is a mid-iron into a small, well-protected green

US Open 2016 Oakmont Country Club: Hole 13

This par-3 is nearly 100 yards shorter than the eighth but trouble still awaits.

The small green is well-protected with five bunkers.

The best place to miss is in the front-left bunker. The green slopes from right-to-left so anything in the right bunker or beyond that makes for a very difficult par.

Most should find the middle of the green with a mid-iron and from there a par is a good score.
