US Open 2016 Oakmont Country Club: Hole 14

The par-4 14th is stroke index 18 and offers the players a birdie chance

A guide to the fourteenth hole at Oakmont Country Club ahead of the 2016 US Open

US Open 2016 Oakmont Country Club: Hole 14

The 14th is short by modern standards and is stroke index 18.

It only requires two irons for the world's best players however on a calm day or down breeze the Jason Days of this world will fancy their chances of driving this green. The bunker left is a good leave.

If you do hit an iron, there are 10 bunkers lining the fairway on both sides so a poor shot will be punished.

The green is harsh and slopes from right-to-left so players will have to ensure don't leave themselves above the hole.

Despite that, at just 358 yards this hole should be a real birdie chance.
