US Open 2016 Oakmont Country Club: Hole 18
The final hole is a scenic one that yet again demands an accurate tee shot
A guide to the eighteenth hole at Oakmont Country Club ahead of the 2016 US Open
US Open 2016 Oakmont Country Club: Hole 18
Hole 18 - Par 4 - 484 yards
The final hole is a very solid par four where only two well-struck shots will find the putting surface.
From the tee the ideal shot is a fade down the right, missing the bunkers left.
A good tee shot will leave the players anything from a four to seven iron in depending on length, uphill into an undulating green.
There are four bunkers left of the green and one short-right so most will settle for anywhere on the dance floor.
