New Titleist 712 AP1 & AP2 irons launched

New Titleist 712 AP1 and 712 AP2 irons have been launched and have a release date of November 2011.

New Titleist 712 AP1 irons and Titleist 712 AP2 irons have been launched offering a blend of feel and forgiveness. Titleist has announced the next generation of the successful AP1 and AP2 irons with new, sleeker models that promise added forgiveness.

The new Titleist AP1 and Titleist AP2 irons have retained the previous dual cavity design and multi-material construction - a soft elastomer and aluminium plate in the back of the head has been designed to refine both sound and feel.

"The new 712 line of AP irons represents another step forward in iron design," said Steve Pelisek, General Manager, Titleist Golf Clubs. "With the development of the first AP irons in 2007, we knew we had created something special - irons that incorporated a true blend of classic golf club aesthetics with modern playability, forgiveness and consistency. With the new 712 line we've taken this breakthrough technology to a new, game-changing level by increasing the stability and forgiveness without losing any workability or shot control."

The new Titleist AP1 irons and Titleist AP2 irons will hit the shelves on November 18th . The new Titleist AP1 irons will come with a recommended retail price of £93 per club for steel shafts and £107 for graphite. The new Titleist AP2 irons will come with a recommended retail price of £114 per club for steel shafts and £130 per club for graphite.
