So far this week the weather in Kentucky has been warm, yet partly cloudy with the odd showers. Let’s take a look at the current USPGA Championship weather (As of Wednesday 6th August at 15:00)

The weather for Saturday will be significantly dryer, winds look minimal, and there doesn’t appear to be any threat of rain, so the weather should open up the possibility for some good scoring. Temperatures get warmer as the day goes on; at noon temperatures of 24 are expected, with highs of 27 at 17:00. Wind speed will be 5mph at 7:00, 7mph at 11:00 and 9mph for the remainder of the day.

As the USPGA Championship comes to a close, Valhalla expects it’s warmest weather of the four days. Temperatures will start at 22 degrees at 8:00, and will rise to 25 at 11:00. By 14:00 temperatures would have reached 27, with highs of 29 come 17:00. As for humidity- at the beginning of the day 91% humidity is to be expected, however this will gradually decrease to 63% at 17:00. Wind speed is minimal. Overall, what promises to be a thrilling final day of golf is to be met by warm temperatures with bursts of sunshine.
