Golf Monthly have teamed up with the European Tour to offer one lucky reader and friend to play in the Pro-Am at the English Challenge and stay at host resort Stoke by Nayland Hotel, Golf & Spa

English Challenge

A week after the biggest names in golf visit British shores for The Open Championship, the next generation of stars will descend upon Stoke by Nayland Hotel, Golf & Spa, in Essex, for the English Challenge from July 26-29.

Michael Campbell, Trevor Immelman, Martin Kaymer and Louis Oosthuizen all took the path from the European Challenge Tour to Major glory, and spectators will have the opportunity to walk side-by-side with the rising stars of world golf at this year's English Challenge.

Could it be promising young Dane Andreas Hartø, or will it be one of the Tour's breakthrough stars this season, 21 year old Englishman Eddie Pepperell?

Considered by many to be the finest venue of its kind in East Anglia, Stoke by Nayland offers 80 luxury hotel rooms, two 18-hole championship golf courses ideal for golf breaks or golf weekends, function rooms for weddings, wedding receptions, Christmas party nights, New Year's Eve and business or corporate meetings, conferences and team building.

Golf Monthly is offering one lucky winner, and a guest of their choice, the unique opportunity to play with one of Europe's top up-and-coming young players in the English Challenge Pro-Am at Stoke by Nayland Hotel, Golf & Spa on Wednesday July 25.

The winner and guest will then spend two nights in one of the brand new, luxurious Stoke by Nayland Country Lodges on site, with breakfast each morning in the hotel's AA Rosette Lakes Restaurant which overlooks both 18th greens and beautiful Constable Country.

The winners will have full access to the use of the Hotel's indoor pool, sauna, Jacuzzi, steam room and Technogym gymnasium.

Tour59, an all-British provider of custom fitted wedges, will also provide the winner with a free sand wedge while Abacus, The European Tour's clothing supplier, will give the winner a set of quality waterproof gear.
