Puma's new Proadapt Alphacat shoes aim to push the limits of performance, style and comfort.

Puma Launches New Proadapt Alphacat Shoe

Puma Golf has introduced its new Proadapt Alphacat shoes, designed to be the 'alpha' of all spikeless shoes, combining performance with hi-tech materials all within Puma's trademark fashion-forward aesthetic.

The brand of choice for Rickie Fowler (opens in new tab), Bryson DeChambeau (opens in new tab) and Gary Woodland (opens in new tab), Puma has already launched the spikeless Ignite Cage Crafted (opens in new tab) shoes this year and the new Alphacat has an altogether more athletic look and feel.

The Alphacat boasts an impressive array of innovative materials, including Puma's proprietary Adapt Foam, which is made from a combination of EVA cushioning and an impact resistant polymer.

The combination of these materials creates a platform that provides impact resistance, energy return, and solid ground feel when walking and swinging the club on course.

As well as the Adapt Foam, the Alphacat shoe features Puma's Proadapt Multi Material Outsole, which features an abrasion resistant TPU perimeter that creates stability and traction on soft surfaces while the central Crsytal Rubber unit provides exceptional ground gripping traction.

Andrew Lawson, Product Line Manager for footwear at Puma Golf said on the launch of the Alphacat shoes, "The new Proadapt Alphacat brings the exact energy and innovation we are about here at Puma.

“More golfers now than ever are wearing spikeless shoes, so when we approached the build of this shoe, our engineers and designers used both performance innovations and style trends to create the most advanced spikeless golf shoe Puma has made to date."

"At the end of the day, the Alphacat gives golfers a shoe that they can feel confident, looking great, and perform at their best in.”

The Proadapt Alphacat (RRP £120) are available in three colourways in men's sizes 7-12 and are available in Europe and Asia from June 15th and in North America in 2022.

There is also an Alphacat women's shoe due to be released by Puma in 2022.
