£2m Reasons for Lee Westwood to Sign On with Dunlop
Dunlop have announced that they have extended their sponsorship agreement with 23-time European Tour winner Lee Westwood.
The deal has been extended for a further three years as the announcement comes ahead of Westwood teeing off at Baltusrol Golf Club for the 98th USPGA Championship later today.
Should the Englishman lift the Wanamaker trophy come Sunday, he will pocket a huge £2 million thanks to a deal struck with Dunlop.
The Worksop man is regarded as one of the game's best players not to win a major, having recorded 18 top-10 finishes in golf's big four events.

Luke Smith, Dunlop’s Brand Manager, said: “Lee is one of the most popular golfers on tour. He has played a huge part in the game for so many years and deserves every success. We’re delighted that he’s chosen to sign a new three year deal, and naturally we wish him the best of luck over the next four days.”
Westwood has come close at two majors already this year.
He finished T2nd at the Masters in April and had a good US Open, despite a poor final round, where he trailed leader Shane Lowry by three strokes after 54 holes.
