US Open 2016 Oakmont Country Club: Hole 3
Hole 3 - Par 4 - 428 yards
The third hole at Oakmont Country Club is where golfers first face the wonderful Church Pews bunker down the left which has to be avoided off the tee.
Right is a no-go zone as well. There are five bunkers in-range off the tee as well as out-of-bounds further right of them so the long-hitters or anyone struggling with their driver will probably keep the big dog in the bag.
A good 3-wood or 2-iron for the professionals will leave them a mid-short iron into the green.
The green is raised but relatively flat so if the fairway is found, a birdie can be made.
