A guide to the seventh hole on Baltusrol Golf Club's Lower Course which hosts the 98th USPGA Championship
Baltusrol Golf Club Hole by Hole Guide: Hole 7
Hole 7 - Par 4 - 501 yards
The long dogleg-right par-4 seventh plays as a par-5 for members and it's easy to see why.
It played as the toughest hole at the 2005 USPGA, at 4.38.
The tee shot must be accurate, with a cluster of bunkers right of the fairway and two further down the left.
From there it's a long shot into this huge green which is the biggest on the course.
Out of bounds left means that plenty of shots will end up down the right.
The two bunkers short of the green on either side make for some difficult pin positions so players may miss in the sand and hope to get it up-and-down.
