Hole 17 - Par 5 - 649 yards

Just like Wentworth's West, the Lower Course at Baltusrol ends with two straight par 5s.

This one, at 650 yards uphill is a beast.

It doglegs round to the left and the fairway splits in two between a cluster of bunkers that need to be carried with the second shot.

John Daly famously reached the green in two here with his '0' iron at the 1993 US Open.

Nearly the entire field will be laying up, and the approach is hit uphill to a blind green surrounded by six bunkers.

With a good drive this should present a birdie chamce.
