Baltusrol Golf Club Hole by Hole Guide: Hole 11

Hole 11 – Par 4 – 431 yards

The eleventh is a brilliant par-4 and by far the sharpest dogleg on the course.

It goes round to the left and bunkers await either side of the corner.

The big hitters will have to decide whether to lay up or fly it over the trees – the tee shot, you would have to say, is made for Bubba Watson’s power slice.

If you don’t cut the corner, the green won’t be fully in view up the hill.

It’s a huge putting surface and the most undulating on the course.

An ‘L’ shaped bunker wraps around the back and right-side of the green and there is also sand short-right and left.

This really is a great hole that will see plenty of bogeys and quite a few birdies too.
