Scott Jamieson has spent the last 20 years in the professional game, and has largely built his reputation on the DP World Tour.

1. Scott Jamieson was born November 28th 1983 in Glasgow, Scotland.
2. After an amateur career that included playing for Scotland in the 2006 Eisenhower Trophy, he turned professional later that year.
3. Jamieson’s first professional win came three years later on the PGA EuroPro Tour.
4. That earned him a Challenge Tour card for 2010.
5. Six consecutive top-20 finishes in his maiden Challenge Tour season were enough to secure a DP World Tour card for 2011.

6. His maiden Major appearance came at the 2011 Open, which was held at Royal St George’s, although he missed the cut.
7. In December 2012, he claimed his one and only DP World Tour title to date, when he beat Eduardo de la Riva and Steve Webster in a playoff at the Nelson Mandela Championship.

8. That win involved a round of 57, although it wasn’t quite as impressive as that sounds. That’s because parts of the course were so waterlogged that the layout had to be shortened by about 1,600 yards, which was adjusted to a par 65 in a 36-hole contest.
9. At the 2013 Portugal Masters, he nearly carded a 59. After 11 birdies in the first 17 holes of his third round, he needed one more at the 18th to break 60. However, his chip towards the hole just drifted past.
10. Per PGATour.com, Jamieson’s favorite Major is The Masters. However, he has yet to play in it. Overall, he has four Open appearances and one in the PGA Championship, resulting in a T29 in 2013.
