Dubai Duty Free Irish Open Live Stream
After a disrupted 2020 tournament which resulted in the Irish Open being hosted at Galgorm Castle, the 2021 tournament should be a very exciting affair with a whole host of huge names in attendance.
Chief among which is Rory McIlroy who returns to the event after playing a huge part in its growth from 2015-2018.
“I am really excited to get back and play the Dubai Duty Free Irish Open,” said McIlroy. “I have so many incredible memories of this event down the years, not least my victory in 2016, and I think it is going to be a pretty special week this July with the fans returning. I’m really excited to play in front of them again.”
Speaking of fans there will be limited numbers in attendance and when tickets were released a percentage of them were donated to key frontline workers in recognition of their dedicated work throughout the pandemic.
The other big names looking to provide an exciting tournament for those fans are Shane Lowry, Tommy Fleetwood, Martin Kaymer and Graeme McDowell.
Additionally 2021 Ryder Cup captain Padraig Harrington will compete as will defending champion John Catlin.
Robert MacIntyre was scheduled to compete but had to withdraw due to Covid-19 complications.
The tournament will be hosted at Mount Juliet (opens in new tab), a course which ranked 88th in our Top 100 courses for the UK&I. It provides a truly majestic setting for the game and has matured extremely well over the course of three decades.
Tranquil, beautiful and at times generously open, but with holes that are beautifully framed, this really is one of Ireland’s – and indeed the UK&I’s – very best modern parkland layouts.
To make sure you miss none of the action here are all the details on how you can watch the tournament.
