It is the time of year when Amazon Prime Day is fast approaching, which traditionally means there will be a range of good deals going live on golf products very soon. However we don't know the exact date yet, and whilst we can estimate the event will take place in mid-July sometime, I actually think if you are in the market for some golf tech then now might be the time to strike because PGA TOUR Superstore has some excellent deals on lasers, watches and launch monitors.

These aren't small discounts either, nor is the sale a clear attempt to simply get rid of stock, because there are some reasonably new products on offer, and some that sit atop the tree in their respective categories. Of course I should mention that a member of the Golf Monthly team has tested every single product I have highlighted below, so we know the performance of each product is very good indeed.

Finally I want to note that finding deals and giving trustworthy buying advice is quite literally my job, and given I have been doing this for a few years now, I want to make very clear to you that I only highlight top products with good discounts. So without further ado, let's get to the tech...

Lasers

Bushnell Tour V6 Shift Rangefinder
Bushnell Tour V6 Shift Rangefinder: was $399.99 now $329.99 at PGA TOUR Superstore

This is currently our top pick in our best laser rangefinders guide because we found it very easy to use in testing, whilst the accuracy competes with the best on the market as well. The optics are bright and clear, it looks modern and cutting edge with the white/orange aesthetic, and it has seamless slope functionality.

Based on the user experience, this premium model is hard to beat, so much so that even at full price the performance justifies the price point. But now it has a $70 off which sweetens the deal even further.

Garmin Approach Z30 Rangefinder
Garmin Approach Z30 Rangefinder: was $399.99 now $349.99 at PGA TOUR Superstore

Another model with a modest discount is the Z30 from Garmin. We have tested a lot of products from the well-trusted brand and the Z30 blew us away in terms of its clever technology. For example you can pair the device with other Garmin devices and they work in conjunction to bring to you the most data they can to help you decide on the right strategy and club for the job. It is also lightweight, feels ultra-premium, very accurate and it has a crystal clear viewfinder with x6 zoom.

Blue Tees Series 3 Max Rangefinder
Blue Tees Series 3 Max Rangefinder: was $269.99 now $199.98 at PGA TOUR Superstore

If you want a more budget-friendly option I also recommend the S3 Max from Blue Tees. Available in several cool colors, the S3 had exceptional clarity and speed, whilst offering a near faultless user experience. It may not come with as many features as the models above, but it is a no-nonsense model that is accurate and easy to use. Obviously the price makes it one of the best budget rangefinders on the market as well.

Watches

Garmin Approach S12 Watch
Garmin Approach S12 Watch: was $199.99 now $149.99 at PGA TOUR Superstore

Perhaps you are more of a golf watch user? Well if you've read our best golf watches guide there are a lot of models out there to consider, but one I always look to is the S12 from Garmin. For those wanting a fuss-free experience, it delivers accurate yardages on a well-displayed screen, it looks great on the wrist and I found it easy to use as well. It may limited in terms of off-course functionality, but at just $150 with the current discount, this is to be expected.

Bushnell iON Elite Watch
Bushnell iON Elite Watch: was $199.99 now $149.99 at PGA TOUR Superstore

Another model at that $150 mark is the iON Elite from Bushnell, another brand we love. In testing we loved how simple it was to navigate, there is only one button on the side which serves as a back and on/off button, but then everything else is done via the touch screen, which we found to be bright, clear, detailed and responsive.

We also loved the slope adjusted distances, moveable pin and the added bonus of hole maps elevated the device further. For this price the performance really is outstanding.

Launch Monitors

Full Swing Kit Launch Monitor
Full Swing Kit Launch Monitor: was $4,999 now $3,999 at PGA TOUR Superstore

I know what you are thinking, $4k is still a lot to spend here but this is still $1k off! And when you consider the performance of the Full Swing KIT Launch Monitor, then I think it is worth it. This is the model of choice for Tiger Woods and provides exceptional accuracy and ease of use, whilst the app experience really set it apart too. Additionally, when you consider the price of launch monitors from brands like Foresight Sports or Trackman, this actually has a modest price in comparison.

Rapsodo Mobile Launch Monitor
Rapsodo Mobile Launch Monitor: was $499.99 now $249.99 at PGA TOUR Superstore

If you want an affordable way to gain insights into your shot/club performance, I recommend the Rapsodo Mobile Launch Monitor. In our testing we found it to be very easy to set up, easily portable, and most importantly there was reliable shot detection. There are some minor limitations which we mentioned in the review below, but it is still one of the best golf launch monitors on the market regardless.

Finally we come to the R10 Launch Monitor from Garmin, a brand well represented in this piece! One of our top picks for the best portable launch monitors on the market, it has a wealth of data at your fingertips whilst the accuracy is of particular note as well. The 'Home Golf Hero' feature - essentially a mini simulator game, is a great, competitive but fun feature to add a bit of thrill to your practice sessions.
