Woods confirms AT&T return at Pebble Beach
Tiger Woods will play in the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am for the first time since 2002 this season as he makes his 2012 US Tour debut
Tiger Woods has confirmed he will make his first appearance on the US PGA Tour of 2012 at the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am in February.
Woods, who makes his first appearance of 2012 in the European Tour's Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championship on January 26th, made the announcement on his website.
It will be the first time that the former world number one has played in the tournament since 2002 but it is a course that holds good memories for him.
In 2000 Woods won the US Open at Pebble Beach by 15 shots having already taken the AT&T title earlier in the year.
Woods said: "I'm excited to start my PGA Tour season at the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am.
"AT&T is a great partner to my foundation, and I'm looking forward to playing in this event. I haven't been to this tournament lately, but I have a lot of good memories at Pebble. It will be fun going back."
