Rory McIlroy confirms for BMW PGA Championship

In excellent news for the European Tour and UK golf fans, world no.2 and 2014 winner Rory McIlroy has confirmed his participation in the 2017 BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth in May.

The event will be the first of the European Tour's new Rolex Series. McIlroy said: “You know I am a very proud member of the European Tour and I think it’s only right that I am there.

Spieth and Kaufman capsize canoe

Jordan Spieth and Smylie Kaufman, stars of Spring Break '16, attempted to go for a spot of fishing yesterday after the first round of the Sony Open. However, once they got into the canoe it didn't exactly go to plan, with the pair capsizing under a large wave.
