International Golf Club London Offers Chance for UK Golfers
An exciting opportunity for UK golfers to play in competitive events at championship courses
Want to play in competitive events at championship courses across the southeast of England? The International Golf Club London may be exactly what you are looking for... By Bryn Evans
The International Golf Club London (IGC London) is launching an exciting opportunity for golfers of all abilities to play in competitive events at championship courses across the southeast of England.
Confirmed venues include The Grove, Moor Park, The Addington, Essendon Country Club, The Drift, Walton Heath, and both courses at Sunningdale.
“IGC London offers something for everyone, especially the nomadic golfer who doesn’t want to be tied to one course,” explained joint director and PGA Professional, James Jankowski.
“It’s a great opportunity to play competitive golf at a variety of the best courses in the UK, and we’ve been working hard with the venues to deliver real value for our members.”
For a small annual fee, members will have the opportunity to pay-and play up to twice a week from May, and invite guests to join them in the experience.
Other benefits include online booking, local pick-up services, allocation of an IGC London handicap and opportunities to attend free coaching clinics.

Peter Phillips, IGC London’s co-founder and joint-director drew inspiration for the venture whilst in Brussels when he was introduced to a similar concept:
“In Belgium, there were a huge number of golfers who wanted to play, but didn’t know where or how to gain access to the clubs in the region." said Phillips.
He went onto say “I see this as true in the UK as well, there are a vast number of golfers who don’t want membership at one club, but want to be able to experience a diverse range of courses. IGC London offers that within a social environment where you’re able to meet and play with like-minded people on a regular basis. It’s something that I think golfers in the UK will benefit from hugely.”
Members will receive preferential rates on event days and have access to year-round benefits such as concessional green fees and discounts at selected courses and retails outlets.
Pre-season begins on the 26th March at The Grove and the full season launches on the 5th May at Sandy Lodge.
