Iconic Japanese brand Mizuno expertly crafts golf equipment for all levels of golfers, from Major-winning tour professionals to serious amateurs looking to lower their handicap indexes all the way to beginner players wishing to make the game easier.

Let's take a look at two of the brand's latest franchises that are built to help golfers shoot lower scores...

The saying goes that 'Nothing feels like a Mizuno' and that's what you'll find with the stunning JPX 925 Forged irons, which have been grain-flow forged to give players that buttery, soft feel that Mizuno irons are known for.

The JPX 925 Forged is an iron designed for a wide spectrum of players thanks to its blend of incredible feel along with explosive distance, with this particular model bridging the gap between traditional distance irons and forged blades for a perfect fusion of speed, precision, and feel.

This has been achieved thanks to the company's revolutionary CORTECH Design, with each iron featuring a Contour Elipse Face in what is a significant innovation.

This has brought an entirely new construction method that sees each iron face featuring a multi-thickness profile to optimise ball speed across the entire face - so you'll be forgiven for missing the middle.

CORTECH Design comes in the 4-7 irons, with the scoring clubs, 8-GW, made exclusively from 1025E Pure Select Mild Carbon Steel to ensure precision, control, and that iconic buttery feel for when attacking pins.

The JPX 925 Forged also comes with Mizuno's Triple Cut Sole, which features a gently bevelled leading edge for clean entry into the turf and a hard-cut trailing edge for a smooth exit.

That's combined with carefully balanced weighting to ensure precise control across all surfaces and lies, with the technology meticulously engineered to give golfers more versatility from all conditions, whether that's tight, links fairways, thick, juicy rough or from fairway bunkers.

All irons are Grain Flow Forged in Mizuno's Hiroshima, Japan facility, where the company's engineers have been crafting clubs since 1968.

Grain Flow Forging ensures a precise iron head with a tight, reinforced grain structure made from one single billet of steel via multiple forging stages. Mizuno is the only company that uses this method after patenting it in 1998.

Our equipment tester, Joe Ferguson, said in his full review where he gave the irons 4.9/5 stars: "The Mizuno JPX 925 Forged is an exceptional and arguably unique offering in the iron category. Combining the feel of a beautifully forged one-piece iron, with the speed of a hollow-bodied player's distance iron is a truly remarkable feat, but Mizuno has managed it"

If you like the sound of the JPX 925 and want to give them a try, you have two options - the standard Chrome finish or the stealthed-out Black finish. Take a look at specs below...

It's not just clubs that Mizuno is a leader in, as the new Pro X has proved to be an exceptional golf ball that is designed to meet the needs of golfers at the highest level thanks to advanced aerodynamics, enhanced speed and exceptional control.

The Pro X impressed Golf Monthly's tester, Joel Tadman, too, who said in his Pro X review that it is one the best golf balls of 2025 and a worthy challenger to the Titleist Pro V1.

Serious players enjoy the speed, control and consistency found in the Pro X as well as the £40 price tag, which offers unmatched value in this end of the market.

It delivers a soft feel combined with mid long-game spin and balanced short-game spin for increased feedback and control without breaking the bank.

The Pro X is a genuine step forward for Mizuno for a number of reasons. A 12% thinner cover and 6% thicker mantle layer help to generate ball speed for maximum distance while not compromising on control.

This is the same construction as the Pro S ball, with both the X and S models designed to produce a higher trajectory for a greater apex height and steeper descent angle when hitting into greens.

The Pro X is made with an Axial Flow Dimple Design which features 332 dimples crafted to reduce drag and enhance stability in flight for supreme performance in all conditions.

So it flies higher, faster and is stable even when it's windy, combined with a soft feel, responsive feedback and exceptional control. What's there not to like?
