The new luxury golf shoe will be available in February 2015
FootJoy has extended one of its most popular lines with the introduction of the Icon Black golf shoe
FootJoy has extended one of its most popular lines with the introduction of the Icon Black golf shoe.
Available in February 2015, the ultra-premium shoe will retail at £300.
The next generation of FJ's most popular tour shoe will appeal to golfers seeking ultimate performance and classic styling.
With the Icon now only available through the MyJoys customisation programme, the launch of Icon Black signifies a bold step for FootJoy towards golfers willing to pay more for the very best in construction and style.
One of the key upgrades is a new outsole that has a stacked leather look in the heel and features genuine leather inserts to enhance both traction and style.
As you’d expect from a £300 pair of shoes, premium leather uppers use the finest calfskin throughout to produce luxurious looks, feel and waterproof protection.

Leather-lined insoles are shaped from a new last to create a comfier fit, combining with strategically placed areas of additional cushioning.
The fast-twist cleat system enables you to change spikes quicker, while the cleats themselves use a 16-component design to react to all angles of force exerted for unmatched stability during your swing.
"Everyone at FootJoy is very excited to unveil Icon Black to UK golfers from February next year and we have no doubt that they will strike a chord with the aspirational player seeking premium quality in their next footwear purchase," said Russell Lawes, FJ's Marketing Manager.
"Our R&D team has worked incredibly hard to deliver an outstanding package of features and benefits in this shoe, which exemplifies out position as the overwhelming number one shoe in golf across the globe."
The Icon Black will be available in two styles; the T-Toe Dress design comes in Black/Black and Tan/Cappuccino, while the Split Toe Saddle can be purchased in White/Ivory and White/Black.
The FootJoy Icon Black goes on sale from 80 specifically selected FJ retailers across the UK from February 2015.
RRP: £300
