Luke Donald extends partnership with Mizuno Golf
World number three Luke Donald has signed a multi-year extension with Mizuno Golf
Mizuno Golf and Luke Donald have extended their long-standing partnership with the Englishman set to continue in his role as a Mizuno brand ambassador for years to come.
The Englishman first signed as a Mizuno brand ambassador in 2003 and has used the company's equipment to record 13 professional victories.
Donald - renowned as one of the best iron players in the world - also used Mizuno equipment during his record-breaking 2011, which saw him become the first player in golf's history to win the PGA and European Tour money lists in the same season.
The former world number one has recently switched to Mizuno's Grain Flow Forged MP-64 irons and MP-T4 wedges, designed in conjunction with the player himself.
Indeed, Donald often gives feedback to Mizuno's engineers, who are renowned for creating equipment synonymous with quality and precision.
"I feel as if I am playing as well as ever at this stage in my career," said Donald.
"I'm really happy with what I have in my bag right now so it gives me great pleasure to extend this relationship.
