Hole 1 – Par 4 – 402 yards

The first hole at Pinehurst Resort is one of the shorter par-4 holes. Players will often use a club less than a driver off the tee, generally aiming to hit the ball at the point where the fairway narrows. This then leaves golfers with around 135-150 yards to the traditional Pinehurst No.2 domed green. The key to this hole is precision, with a misdirected shot resulting in a roll away from the hole.
