This larger-headed I-701 could be launched high on demand and sounds better at impact than its more metallic-sounding I-601 predecessor. It will probably prove the more playable I-701 offering for the majority of golfers.
Why you can trust Golf Monthly Our expert reviewers spend hours testing and comparing products and services so you can choose the best for you. Find out more about how we test.
The new I-701 irons are available in two distinct head types – a classic shallow-cavity Tour model designed for excellent feel and control thanks to a “press-milled” forged face, and this slightly larger pocket-cavity model, again forged to give low to mid-handicappers the feel and control they crave, but with the added bonus of extra forgiveness.
