This time of the year is always an exciting time for Golf Monthly. Not only does the 'Gulf Swing' attract some of the best fields but we get some fantastic time with the pros as they gear up for a busy period. Plus, there are few better places to shoot some top instruction for the magazine.
After two weeks in Abu Dhabi in was no great hardship to fly back out to Dubai to spend some time interviewing Tiger Woods ahead of this week's Omega Dubai Desert Classic.
It should come as no surprise that it was thoroughly engaging to speak to the man who has won 14 Major titles. Keep your eye out for Tiger Woods in a future issue of Golf Monthly.

In July 2023, Neil became just the 9th editor in Golf Monthly's 112-year history. Originally working with the best coaches in the UK to produce instruction content, he went on to become a feature writer interviewing many of the biggest names in the game including Tiger Woods, Seve Ballesteros, Rory McIlroy and Arnold Palmer.
A 5-handicap golfer, Neil is a club member who takes a keen interest in the health of the game at grassroots level. You’ll often now find him writing about club-related issues such as WHS, membership retention and how best to bridge the gap between the range and the course.
