Peter Uihlein Named 2013 European Tour Rookie of the Year After the Race to Dubai came to an end last weekend, Peter Uilhein has become the first American to win the European Tour's Sir Henry Cotton Rookie of the Year Award.
Uilhein plays Titleist from tee to green and recorded one victory and seven top-10 finishes throughout the 2013 European Tour schedule.
By winning this award, he becomes the third Titleist Brand Ambassador to win Rookie of the Year in the last four seasons, following Ricardo Santos (2012) and Matteo Manassero (2010).
The American made his way onto the European Tour International schedule after his victory at the Madeira Islands Open in May 2013.
After earning his way onto the tour, he finished 14th on the Race to Dubai standings this year.
