FootJoy upgrades 'big four' shoes for 2013
FootJoy has announced a range of performance and aesthetic enhancements to the FJ Icon, XPS-I, FJ Sport an DryJoys Tour ahead of the 2013 season
FootJoy has unveiled a number of performance upgrades and styling improvements to its FJ ICON, XPS-I, DryJoys Tour and FJ Sport golf shoe brands for the 2013 golfing season.
FootJoy's 'Big Four' have all been upgraded to provide the consumer with a wider array of patterns and modern colours, along with inclusion of the company's cutting-edge technologies.
"At FootJoy we continually strive to provide the consumer with fashionable designs fused with the very latest performance technologies, so they can look and play their very best in all conditions," said Russell Lawes, FootJoy's European Marketing Manager.
"With these upgrades, we truly believe we have a golf shoe to suit the individual characteristics of all golfers. After all, you only have to look at the PGA and European Tour to see our brand ambassadors excelling on a weekly basis in all four of these styles."
The FJ ICON sees the introduction of new upper patterns and outsole cosmetics, alongside technological advancements, to deliver optimum comfort, stability and traction. Notable players to wear FJ ICON in competition include, Luke Donald, Lee Westwood and current Masters Champion Bubba Watson.
Since its launch a year ago, the XPS-1 golf shoe has been worn by three-time Major Champion Padraig Harrington and two-time PGA Tour winner Jason Dufner. The 2013 range incorporates two new colour options; White/Green and Black and all over black to sit alongside the existing popular White/Black/Silver style.
With over 20 years of experience in product engineering and innovation, the new DryJoys Tour range employs the latest evolution in performance footwear. Incorporating feedback from FJ staff players, including Steve Stricker and Zach Johnson, the updated collection showcases new traditional and contemporary upper patterns, and can also be purchased with the BOA L4 Closure System for an exceptional fit that can be easily altered during the round.
