Best Big Spring Sale Golf Deals: Quick Menu
Amazon's Big Spring Sale has been and gone so our attention has turned to the retailer's biggest shopping event, Amazon Prime Day. This 48-hour event traditionally sees thousands of deals go live ranging from televisions to air fryers. But we also see a lot of golf gear get discounted as well from big name brands like TaylorMade, Callaway, Titleist and many more.
After a few months of speculation we now know the event will take place in July, we guess before The Open Championship. We base that guess on previous Amazon Prime Day events. So given it is still a couple of months away, we do recommend bookmarking this page so you will be updated on all things Prime Day-related, and so you can see the best golf deals. It is worth acknowledging though, that there are a number of good deals on golf equipment right now and we have collated our top picks below.
We will update this page with all the best deals leading up to and during the event and we also recommend checking out the golf section on Amazon. I have been testing golf equipment for several years now, as well as covering sales events like Prime Day and Black Friday, so in hub pages like this I always seek to show you the best deals in my opinion (and help you avoid the bad ones). What are the biggest sale days on Amazon?
The biggest sale days on Amazon are threefold - Amazon's Prime Day which usually takes place in July around the middle of the month. Amazon has also introduced two smaller shopping sales which are called the Amazon Big Spring Sale taking place in March, and then Amazon Prime Big Deal Days which took place in October 2023 for the first time.
Of course Amazon also has huge discounts during Black Friday and Cyber Monday given the buying intent is so high then, and the same can be said for the month of December and in the weeks leading up to Christmas.
Tips for finding the best Amazon Prime Day golf deals
1. Use a free trial to shop the sale
If you think about it, Prime members are spending $14.99/£8.99 a month to shop the Big Spring Sale. The idea of paying to shop a sale is a bit odd but considering the amazing prices on offer every year, it's a small price to pay. However, if you're a new Prime user, sign up to Prime before the event and you can shop the sale for free with the free 1 month trial.
2. Shop with an Amazon Gift Card
If you have an Amazon Gift Card that you haven't used yet, why not use it in the Big Spring Sale?
3. Don't limit yourself to Amazon
Of course there will be a lot of focus on Amazon during the sales event but definitely don't limit yourself to just one retailer as we often notice other retailers like PGA Tour Superstore, Walmart, Rock Bottom Golf and Scottsdale Golf doing sales of their own.
4. Price check everything
I really think this is one of the most important things to do when shopping in sales events. Price checking on Amazon is quite easy. I use CamelCamelCamel, a website that price checks millions of items sold on Amazon, a lot. The website tracks price lows, so if the item you're looking at was cheaper at some other point, you'll be able to see the price difference.
5. Watch out for shady reviews
This is something to be aware of. Amazon has removed a lot of bogus reviews but there are so many that not all of them can be. So I recommend just keeping your eyes out for reviews that seem a bit fishy.
6. Treat yourself to some early deals
Amazon has deals running every single day so if you're in desperate need of a new golf club set, golf bag or golf watch immediately, you can find some cheap prices on the Amazon Daily Deals page.
