Big Max Ti Lite

The Big Max brand has come a long way in just over 25 years and now boasts an extensive product range of push trolleys, electric trolleys, stand bags, cart bags, travel covers and accessories.

Editor's Choice 2020

It all started with pull trolleys though, which quickly gave way to push trolleys as founder, Thomas Reiter, realised that an extra wheel at the front would put less strain on the golfer’s body as their arms could sit more naturally in front of them rather than being extended slightly awkwardly behind them.

New to the three-wheel push trolley range for 2020 is this excellent Big Max Ti Lite, which is the lightest Ti model the brand has ever created. It’s based on the company’s classic Ti design, and despite being ultra-light is also as robust and durable as you’d want your golf trolley to be.

We’ve had a few rounds with it now, and it really is unbelievably light, such that it barely feels like it is you that is actually propelling it at times.

Features galore

The Ti Lite’s lightness doesn’t mean that it skimps on the features, though, and there really is everything you could want in a non-motorised trolley here. It folds away simply and quickly, and the quick-release rear wheels can be instantly detached when it’s time to pack things away or give them a good clean. The front wheel can be collapsed too for even more compact storage.

There’s a deluxe organiser panel for all your bits and bobs, and the handle can be easily adjusted for height to suit your frame and build.

If you’re not in the market for an electric trolley but do want something that’s light and efficient to take the strain off your back when you play, then the Big Max Ti Lite could be just the ticket.
