Jason Bohn has heart attack at the Honda Classic

Bohn called for a medic when he completed his second round of golf and stated he was suffering from chest pains.

Bohn had made the cut for the rest of the weekend as he carded a 72 on Friday at the PGA National.

The two-time winner on the PGA Tour was taken by an ambulance to Palms Beach Gardens Medical Centre and tests later showed he had suffered a mild heart attack.

Justin Richmond who is Bohn’s agent stated:

“Jason is resting comfortably and in good spirits, we know he appreciates the concern from so many people in the PGA Tour family who have reached out.”

There is no time scale on when Bohn will be released from the Medical Centre in Palm Beach

The tournament still went on with Australian Adam Scott securing a one shot victory over Sergio Garcia.

Scott shot a level par final round of 70 to win at nine under par over all.

After the ban on putting its fair to say Scott has struggled when it comes to short stick but with his first win since the ban he looks in great shape for the Masters in April.

Scott had won seven titles while using the longer putter and it also saw him win his first major at Augusta in 2013.

Garcia finished with a final round of 71, which was disappointing considering he shot in the 60s all week.

It was another difficult week for Rory Mcilroy as he carded two rounds of 72, which saw him miss the cut once again, with the masters coming up Rory needs to turn his game around if he is to finally win that green jacket at Augusta.

Graeme McDowell looks in good form coming up to the first major of the year having three top 10 finishes and just one missed cut this year so far.

McDowell finished in 5^th by himself having posted a final round of 69 and a total of four under par.
