Monty and Freddie Have Smashing Time at Mottram Hall
Former European Number One Monty and World-Class Cricketer Flintoff celebrated site's relaunch

Colin Montgomerie and Freddie Flintoff relaunched De Vere Mottram Hall in style this week with a charity glass-smash golfing challenge.
The 2010 Ryder Cup captain and cricket legend raised funds for Asthma UK and celebrated the re-opening of the complex following its £6 million refurbishment.
Both fired golf balls from a specially constructed tee area in-front of the luxury mansion hotel, with each target assigned a specific value.
Flintoff, a former England captain and Ashes hero, said: "That's the best fun I've ever had playing golf."
Monty solidified his reputation a fine ball-strikers, successfully smashing two panels, while the closest Flintoff came was hitting the frame.
"Colin and Freddie are fantastic ambassadors for De Vere Golf and we have had a great time with them at Mottram Hall," said Daniel Hodson, De Vere's Director of Golf.
"There was great expectation before every shot and Colin proved his golfing talents with some fantastic shots.
