FootJoy has announced the launch of its latest golf shoe, the FJ ICON. Combining design inspiration from over 100 years of cumulative experience, FootJoy's (opens in new tab) iconic heritage is assimilated in the FJ ICON designs (opens in new tab) and style.
Merging the tradition of FootJoy and their pioneering technological advancements, such as memory foam and a perforated alloy torque bar, the FJ ICON shoes deliver looks, traditional style, comfort and stability.
The category tested and approved by the best players in the world and engineered specifically to exceed their demands. The category embodies the very best features from all FootJoy golf shoes (opens in new tab): finely tailored upper designs, premium materials, performance-infused outsoles and customisation that allows for a seemingly endless amount of design and size options.
FJ ICON shoes (opens in new tab) will debut in four patterns and nine styles. In addition, four patterns will also be available through the MyJoys program which allows consumers to customise their shoe with thousands of colour and personalisation options. With the inclusion of FJ ICON (opens in new tab), there are now over 2.5 million custom combinations available through the MyJoys franchise.
The stock shoes will be available in January with a suggested retail price of £200, and FJ ICON (opens in new tab) MyJoys will be available from late September with a suggested retail price of £220.
An instant hit on Tour, FJ Icon (opens in new tab) is already being worn by the likes of Rory McIlroy, Ian Poulter, Camilo Villegas, Lee Westwood, Angel Cabrera and Hunter Mahan. Visit FJICON.com (opens in new tab) for more details.
