The Sureshot 8800 GPS device is a full-colour screen system that is accurate to within one yard and measures distances to the back, front and middle of green as well as hazards. The device also allows you to record your statistics during the round, including fairways hit, greens in regulation, sand saves and driving distances. You receive three free course downloads when you purchase the unit and then membership starts at £19.95 for ten courses.
This distance-measuring device is an easy-to-follow design that takes surprisingly little time to enter your statistics while out on the course. Signing up to the SureShot site and downloading courses is extremely straightforward. The shape of the unit made it seem a little bulkier than others, particularly when attached to a carry bag.
