Nikon and MasterCard have joined forces to offer cardholders the chance to play at Muirfield, host venue of the 2013 Open Championship.
From now until May 30, any MasterCard holder who buys a Nikon COOLSHOT laser rangefinder could win two spots in an exclusive golf day at Muirfield on June 30.
Some 15 lucky winners will be invited to take on Golf Monthly's number-one ranked course the day before it closes to begin its Open preparations.
Winners will also play with a former Open champion, get two night's free accommodation at a five-star hotel and receive an invite to the R&A Gala Dinner, hosted by the former Open Champion.
"This prize represents every golfer's dream and we are delighted to be able to team up with fellow Open patron MasterCard to offer out customers such a superb opportunity."
Paul Trueman, Head of Marketing, UK & Ireland, MasterCard Europe, added: "It's great to be able to create compelling offers, experiences and priceless access around the most historic tournament in golf.
"To play with a former Open champion at Muirfield is one of the most unique opportunities we will give to our cardholders this year."
