2. She started playing the game when she was only six years old after being given the choice of either golf or tennis by her father. She is believed to have chosen golf after watching videos of both sports on YouTube.

3. Her nicknames are 'Jeen' and 'Jeeno' - Thitikul has recently gone with Jeeno as her given name at tournaments as she thought "it would be easier for people to remember."

4. Thitikul was world amateur number one for 12 weeks, first achieving the feat while she was just 16.

5. In 2017, she won the Thailand Ladies Championship on the Ladies European Tour aged 14 years, four months and 19 days old. In the process, she became the youngest winner of a professional golf tournament until her record was broken in April 2023 by Louise Uma Landgraf at the Terre Blanche Ladies Open (14 years, two months, 18 days).

6. During that year, she competed at the Junior Dutch Open, carding a course record round of eight-under-par to win the tournament by eight strokes.

7. Before turning professional, Thitikul had 16 amateur victories. These included gold at the 2018 Summer Youth Olympics and leading amateur at the Women's Open Championship in 2018 at Royal Lytham and 2019 at Woburn.

8. Thitikul turned professional in 2020, at which point, she already had two professional wins on the Ladies European Tour, both coming at the Ladies European Thailand Championship.
