A guide to the eleventh hole at Hazeltine National Golf Club in Minnesota ahead of the 41st Ryder Cup from 30th Sept - 2nd October
Hazeltine National Golf Club Course Guide: Hole 11
Hole 11 – Par 5 – 606 yards
The eleventh at Hazeltine is the shortest par 5 so far at 606 yards.
This huge dogleg right has 14 bunkers and they key to this hole is staying out of them.
Back in the final round of the 2002 USPGA Championship, Rich Beem was the only man to eagle this hole all week and that was the key to him winning.
A huge drive will carry the bunkers down the right and leave a fairway wood or long iron into the green, otherwise it will play as a three shotter.
