We’ve always loved Mizuno hybrids, and this is perhaps the most impressive to date. Great feel off the face, easy to launch and the head inspires confidence at address. A great performer. We liked the impact sound. Markedly different to other hybrids and we loved it. We found the flight a little too high. However, this was probably a shaft-related issue that would be easily remedied.
Why you can trust Golf Monthly Our expert reviewers spend hours testing and comparing products and services so you can choose the best for you. Find out more about how we test.
The Mizuno MP CLK hybrid is designed for strong players, thanks to a tour-inspired square face and low-profile design. Internal weighting in the head helps position the sweetspot low on the face, reducing backspin and a ballooning flight. The compact head also allows the player to work the ball.
