Ted Potter Jr wins The Greenbrier Classic

PGA TOur rookie Ted Potter Jr won his first PGA Tour event with a play-off victory over Troy Kelly

A final round of 64 helped Ted Potter Jr make a play-off against fellow American Troy Kelly which the rookie from Florida won to claim his first PGA Tour victory at The Greenbrier Classic.

Potter managed to make the play-off against veteran Kelly with an incredible finish to his final round. He played the last four holes in just 11 strokes including two birdies and an eagle to match the total of Kelly who failed to pick up a birdie over that final stretch.

Potter said of his victory. "Finally to win, I mean, I know it's my first year out here, but just to win, period, I mean, it was just a big relief."
