The pairings for the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship have been announced, with big names from the world of sport and entertainment joining the pros in a bid to win the Team Championship.
Movie star Bill Murray will take to the tee tomorrow at Carnoustie alongside English touring pro David Howell, in a fourball that is made up by big hitting American Dustin Johnson and his brother Austin.
Scotsman Colin Montgomerie will play alongside Olympic legend Steve Redgrave, with victorious Ryder Cup Vice -Captain Paul McGinley and Paralypmpic and Olympic athlete Oscar Pistorious completing a fourball which is sure to get a loud reception on the 1st tee.
Another home favourite Paul Lawrie, will contest the pro-am competition with his 17 year-old son Craig Lawrie, whilst Padraig Harrington and Irish racehorse owner JP Macmanus will be looking for their third win at the competition.
The Championship -which has a standard 72-hole strokeplay event running alongside it for the tour pros- begins on Thursday 4th October, and is contested over three of the finest links in the world; St. Andrews Old Course, Kingsbarns and Carnoustie.
