1. Perez was born in Semeac, France on September 2, 1992.

2. Perez started playing golf at a young age and was connected to Mike Magher, his current coach, at Biarritz Golf Club.

3. He is six foot five inches tall (1.96m).

4. His parents are called Michel and Dany Perez.

5. During high school, Perez finished T25th at The Amateur Championship.

6. Perez attended the University of New Mexico and played on the men's golf team alongside LIV's John Catlin. Perez graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree with a focus on psychology. He minored in Chemistry.

7. His only college victory arrived via a four-stroke margin at the 2011-12 Aggie Invitational in Texas.

8. Perez turned professional in 2015 and qualified for the Alps Tour by finishing second at Q-School in December. The Frenchman then won his first pro event at the Alps de Las Castillas in July 2016 to help graduate to the Challenge Tour the following year.

9. Perez has moved several times since turning pro. He moved from France to Dundee in Scotland in 2017 before swapping Dundee for Edinburgh in 2023. More recently, he and wife, Abigal have moved to The Bahamas.

10. His wife is called Abigail Gliksten, a former Vocational Dental Practitioner at ESK Dental Care in Brechin, Scotland.

11. After graduating from the Challenge Tour with two victories to his name, Perez earned his DP World Tour card ahead of the 2019 season.

12. Perez's favorite athletes are tennis legend, Roger Federer and future NFL Hall of Fame quarterback, Tom Brady.

13. The Frenchman has seven total professional wins to his name. He has three DP World Tour victories - including the 2023 Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship - but no success on the PGA Tour just yet. The closest he has come is T3rd on two occasions.

14. Perez ended the 2019 campaign in 45th on the OWGR and, as a result, qualified for his first Major - the 2020 Masters. However, the Covid-19 pandemic pushed that back until November, making the 2020 PGA Championship in August his first taste of a Major.

15. Perez has only appeared at The Players Championship once (2021) but has a great record - he finished T9th.

16. He has two dogs, both Vizslas, called Zuma and Gaia.

17. At the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, Perez finished T4th despite a late charge and the unwavering support of the home fans.

18. He says he has made a hole-in-one nine times throughout his career, with the most recent coming at the 2025 US Open during round two. Afterwards, the Frenchman claimed it was his third inside a month after making two while practicing at home on his own.
