Hints and Tips

Lacoste is a luxury brand, but that doesn’t mean you can’t save a few dollars here and there on your shop. Here are some helpful hints and tips on how to save money when shopping with Lacoste:

  • Shop in the sales: Just like most clothing brands, Lacoste does reduce prices on certain products. For example, during the online ‘Semi Annual Sale’ you get up to 50% off men’s, women’s, and kids’ clothing.
  • Other sales: If you head to the homepage and click on the three lines on the top right of the page, a ‘Sale’ tab appears. Click on this to open up the men’s, women’s, and kids’ sales.
  • Join Le Club Lacoste: Join Le Lacoste Club by signing up for its newsletter. This is Lacoste’s loyalty programme and lets you collect points on your order. You’ll also get birthday treats, free gifts, and early access to sales.
  • Use your points: With every Lacoste purchase you will earn points: $1 = 10 points. You have the option to upgrade to the next level to cumulate more advantages. Your points are available in store and on lacoste.com and valid for 12 months from the date you entered the loyalty level.
  • Save money with a Military discount: Lacoste now offers a 10% Military discount off the entire purchase for Military Members. You can receive your discount while shopping online by verifying your eligibility with ID.me. This discount cannot be combined with other promotional codes or any gift card purchases. The promo code is valid for single purchase, and limited to one per Military Member per week.
  • Follow Lacoste on social media: It’s always worth following the brand on its various social media channels – that’s Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter – just in case the brand shares any deals or special offers. The company has also held competitions in the past, too, such as #SpotTheCroc competition which asked you to find the crocodile logo in a series of small videos.
  • Save money on shipping: Sometimes it’s worth topping up your shop to $99, especially if you’re close to that figure, as this is the amount where free shipping kicks in.

How to use Lacoste promo codes

Vouchers can be used to get a discount when purchasing products through Lacoste’s online store. If you have a promo code, here’s how to use it:

1. Once you have clicked and added an item to your shopping bag, hit the green box ‘View bag’.

2. Fill out the ‘Delivery selection’ details.

3. In the next section, underneath, you will see ‘Option’ where there is space to fill in your Promo code.

4. Enter the Promo code exactly how it is shown, and hit the black box labelled ‘Add promo code’.

If the promo code has not been entered correctly, you will be told straight away, as text appears that says: ‘Promo code unknown’. Promo codes may be case-sensitive, so be sure to check this. Many will have expiry dates, too, so they won’t work beyond a specified date. Only one promotional code can be used per order.

You will find a number of different clothes under Lacoste’s golf collection, including sweatshirts, polos, shorts, jackets, sweaters, and pants. Lacoste boasts preppy colours and styles that suit both on and off-course wear.

About Lacoste

René Lacoste became the best tennis player in the world in 1926. In Boston in 1923, his captain promised to buy him a crocodile leather suitcase that he had taken a liking to in a shop window if he won his next match. Lacoste lost, but in tribute to his tenacity on the court and in reference to this unusual bet, the American press christened him “the crocodile.” Lacoste asked his friend and stylist Robert George to sew a crocodile onto the white jackets he wore when arriving on the court – and with that, the legend began. In 1933, René founded Lacoste with André Gillier, which became the first brand to feature a logo on its clothing. During the 1950s, the company’s clothing was exported across the world, before it expanded into fragrances the following decade. Although most people associate Lacoste with tennis, the company is regarded as an accessible-luxury brand, and it produces a wide range of clothing, shoes, and accessories.
