The use of artificial intelligence in the construction and design of golf clubs has increased massively in recent years, with Odyssey being one of the first to use it in a line of putters. Producing some of the best golf putters for decades now, Odyssey often set the bar for performance which only makes these terrific discounts over at PGA TOUR Superstore even more appealing!
Before showcasing the models that caught my eye, let me first tell you a little more about the technology here that should help you hole more putts on the greens and shoot lower scores. The Ai-One and Ai-One milled ranges feature cleverly designed inserts that are created through the use of data captured through A.I. the same 'Super Computer' made to develop Callaway's stellar driver lineup in recent years that includes the Elyte driver, Rogue ST Max driver and their Epic Flash driver has been used to identify how and where golfers were missing the sweet spot on a putter and what was happening when they did.
This has allowed Odyssey to include variable face technology on each Ai-One model which means ball speed remains stable no matter what part of the face it makes contact with. This then allows for maximum forgiveness, a staple of the best Odyssey putters. They claim that during testing, putts from 32 feet with the Ai-One range finished on average 21 percent closer to the hole on mishits compared to a standard flat faced putter.
This technology has proven so successful that Odyssey have continued using it with their latest Square 2 Square Range which have proven extremely popular both on tour and in the amateur game, including the impressive Odyssey Square 2 Square Jailbird Putter which has proven one of the best zero torque putters released to date.
The Ai-One range aren't the only putters discounted at PGA TOUR Superstore, but if I was to urge to try a new putter, chances are it would be one of the four I have listed below.
A premium blade putter that looks as good as it performs. The gold blends in wonderfully with the slick navy finish and the head size is appealing for those that don't want too much real estate behind the ball on the green. Combining a classic look with cutting edge modern edge technology, the thing that jumped out at us initially during testing with the Two T was that the feel is fantastic, which you’d expect from a milled head with an A.I. created face insert.
The weapon of choice for two-time major champ and Euro Ryder Cup star Jon Rahm, the Spaniard switched to this putter in 2023 and hasn't looked back. Speaking of the change, he said "I just loved how it looked, I really found that the contrast between the head and the face, helped me square the face up a little quicker through impact". It performed brilliantly for us in testing as well, especially in the looks department. It isn't as big and bulky as some of the other best mallet putters but we like the rounded shape and there is enough meat at the back of the head to put this in the conversation as one of the most forgiving putters.
Odyssey have absolutely nailed the combo of eye-catching looks and game-changing technology with their Ai-One family, providing amazing alignment help and forgiveness, especially with the Jailbird mallet options. The Cruiser line are bigger, heavier options in the Ai-One range that focus even more so on forgiveness and from personal experience are very helpful for players who tend to play in windy conditions often. Interchangeable weights in the sole are available in 5, 10, 15 and 20 grams, meaning you can dial in your head weight to your exact preference.
It's a tough choice but the #7 CH might just be the best looking putter in the Ai-One range thanks to the slick fang-like design. It sits in between the Cruiser and the Two T in terms of weight, but this can be interchanged thanks to multiple grip options and a lightweight steel shaft with 20-30 grams (depending on the grip) of counterbalance weight in the butt end. It also features the aforementioned interchangeable sole weights to help you dial in the feel to your liking.

Conor joined Golf Monthly in late 2024 after graduating with a Masters degree in Sports Journalism from St Mary's University and heads up reviews for rangefinders, GPS and golf watches. Conor is lucky to have Royal County Down as his home golf course, beginning to play the game at the age of four, later becoming a caddy at RCD at just eleven years old and doing so for over 12 years. Playing to a 5 handicap, you’ll likely find him on the range trying (and failing) to hit a Shane Lowry-esque stinger that helped him win The Open Championship at Royal Portrush.
