The Masters 2026 key info
The Masters an historic and remarkable one last year as Rory McIlroy completed the career grand slam after finally sealing the Green Jacket. McIlroy played a rollercoaster final round, highlighted by birdies at 15 and 17, to match Justin Rose at 11-under-par before defeating him on the 1st extra hole with a birdie.
McIlroy became just the sixth man in history to secure the modern career grand slam and is now a five-time Major champion. He gets his own Green Jacket, a lifetime exemption and has set the menu for the Champions Dinner - one of many perks of winning The Masters.
The Masters
The Masters is the first men's Major of the year and is hosted at the beautiful Augusta National each April, dating back to 1934. It is one of the most famous golfing venues on the planet, designed by Bobby Jones and Alister MacKenzie it has seen much drama over the decades.
Jack Nicklaus has won The Masters on the most occasions with six victories, while Tiger Woods is second with five Green Jackets after he dramatically won his fifth Masters in 2019.
